Hakone Kowakien Yunessan (Spa amusement park)
This is a spa amusement park. There are a variety of spa and water sliders. Swimming suit is required.
Horaien (Japanese garden)
This is a beautiful Japanese garden, originally made for Japanese traditional hotel "Ryokan." You can enjoy seasonal flowers, especially cherry blossom in Sparing and red leaves in autumn.
This is a very popular sightseeing spot .It has been a site of volcanic activity since around 3000 years ago. You can still feel the heat and steam from the crater. You can taste a black egg which is boiled with volcanic mad.
Chokoku no mori bijyutsukan (Hakone Open-air museum)
This museum is built outside to build a harmony of "nature" and "art" in 1969. It is 70,000 square-meters. You can enjoy many sculptures such as René Rodin, Henry Spencer Moore and Joan Miró. There are spa areas where you can soak your feet and look at the arts.
Hakone Jinja stands at the foot of Mount Hakone along the shores of Lake Ashi. The shrine buildings are built in 757. People worship the spirit of all mountains and still believe a power to open your path. You can feel very peaceful and spiritual power if you have a calm mind.
You can enjoy cruising and fishing.
You can see a great panoramic view of Owakudani from the ropeway.
This is the best hiking course in Hakone. There are three courses (Kintoki Jinja guchi, Kintokiyama tozan guchi, otome tozan guchi). If you choose the shortest one (Kintokii Jinja guchi), it takes 70-80 minutes to the top of the mountain. It takes 10 minutes from Sengoku bus tei to Kintoki Jinjya guchi.
